AUSA Korea Chapter: A Year in Review (2024)

  • April: The Chapter kicked off the year with a week-long event at Camp Humphreys, featuring exhibits from OCONUS partners and showcasing the strength of industry collaboration.

  • May: Active participation in the Pacific Regional Meeting in Anchorage, Alaska, further strengthened regional ties and provided valuable insights.

  • June: A productive Board of Directors meeting hosted IMCOM CDR for Camp Humphreys, fostering valuable dialogue and collaboration.

  • July: AUSA actively supported the 4th of July celebrations at Camp Humphreys, utilizing the event for membership drives and educational outreach. The Chapter also initiated a series of events to enhance collaboration between the US military and ROK industry partners, beginning with an introductory session for the 19th ESC and 906th CBN.

  • September: The Chapter played a significant role in the 74th Anniversary of Pusan Nakdong River Bridgehead commemoration, a poignant event honoring the legacy of the Korean War.

  • October: AUSA Korea Chapter facilitated the participation of personnel from Camp Humphreys and 19th ESC at the Korea Army International Defense Industry Exhibition, providing valuable networking opportunities and enhancing industry engagement.

  • November: The Chapter hosted its Annual Meeting and Golf Tournament, bringing together over 166 members for a day of camaraderie and networking. The event featured a distinguished guest speaker, Col. Ryan Workman, and showcased the contributions of JROTC from Humphreys High School.

  • November: Active participation in the 18th ROK-U.S. Alliance Forum, a critical platform for discussing key defense and security issues.

  • December: AUSA Korea Chapter concluded the year with participation in the AROKA Family Day, celebrating the partnership and contributions of the ROK and US military.
